Our past, present and future

Villagarcía, our second home
Our story is born from resilience and from the conviction that giving up was never an option. That summer had only one possible ending: to finish a car capable of taking us to Montmeló. And we achieved it thanks to the hospitality of Villagarcía de Campos, where we were welcomed as if we were family. There, with just a few tools, a farming warehouse and all our ingenuity, we managed to bring to life a car that had been years in the making and designing. From that collective effort, from that blend of necessity, enthusiasm and creativity, the VRT24 was born.
From those beginnings came real progress
Although our work was humble and in many ways rudimentary, it eventually paid off: we built a vehicle capable of taking to the track and proving that effort, even with limited resources, can turn into real results. That summer did not only teach us the fundamentals of how to build a car from scratch; it taught us something much deeper. We learned the value of teamwork when the days became endless, the importance of friendship that supports you when fatigue sets in, and the need for sustained hard work day after day. Above all, we learned from our mistakes—every small and big failure that forced us to rethink ideas, improve processes and truly understand how a competition vehicle should be built. Every imperfect weld, every adjustment that did not fit the first time, every unexpected revision became a lesson that shaped our growth as a team. That period, with all its difficulties and discoveries, did not just give us a car; it gave us a way of working and an identity as a group.

Our journey continues
In Tordesillas, the project took a decisive step towards consolidation with the VRT25, our second single-seater, which represented a significant technical leap compared to its predecessor. Many of the mistakes made with the first vehicle were left behind, the result of accumulated learning and more mature planning. Still, as in any real development process, new challenges arose—challenges we faced with patience, method and a constant desire to improve. Every problem detected became an opportunity to refine the design, improve processes and strengthen team cohesion. Thanks to this sustained effort, we returned once again to the imposing Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, ready to defend with determination all the work, dedication and commitment invested throughout the year. The VRT25 did not only represent a better car; it represented the growing maturity of a project that continues to move forward with firm steps.
Our future
With the project now consolidated and a mature, well-established way of working, all that remains is to look ahead—to the VRT26. Our pace does not slow down, and neither do we. We remain fully committed, driven by the ambition to surpass ourselves season after season and by the determination to turn our team into a true reference within Formula Student. Every improvement, every lesson learned and every challenge overcome brings us closer to that goal, and we face the future with the same passion and commitment that have brought us this far.
